ACCOUNT INFORMATION: - Full name and email address - Password (encrypted, never stored in plain text) - Role — client or builder - Subscription tier PROFILE INFORMATION (builders): - Username and bio - Skills and hourly rate - Portfolio and social links JOB INFORMATION (clients): - Project titles and descriptions - Budget ranges and timelines - Skills needed USAGE INFORMATION: - Pages visited and features used - Device type, browser, and IP address - Time spent on the platform - Search queries and filter selections PAYMENT INFORMATION: - Payment is processed by Stripe — we never store full card numbers - We store transaction history and subscription status

We use the information we collect to: - Operate and improve the Platform - Match clients with appropriate builders - Process payments and manage subscriptions - Send transactional emails — signup confirmation, job alerts, approval notifications - Enforce our Terms of Service including detecting circumvention - Respond to support requests - Analyze usage patterns to improve the product - Comply with legal obligations We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not allow advertisers to target you based on your personal data within our Platform.

We share your information only in the following circumstances: WITH OTHER USERS: - Builder profiles marked as approved are visible to all Platform users and the public - Job briefs are visible to approved builders on the Platform - Messages are visible only to the sender and recipient WITH SERVICE PROVIDERS: - Supabase — database and authentication - Stripe — payment processing - Resend — transactional email delivery - Vercel — hosting and content delivery These providers are bound by contractual obligations to keep your information confidential and use it only to provide services to us. LEGAL REQUIREMENTS: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights or safety of The AI Matcher, our users, or the public.

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. - Account data: retained while your account is active + 90 days after deletion - Transaction records: retained for 7 years for tax and legal compliance - Messages: retained for 2 years - Usage logs: retained for 12 months You may request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing privacy@theaimatcher.ai. Note that some data may be retained longer if required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.

The AI Matcher is not directed to children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
